Heliotrope Haus
With two primary bedrooms and two loft sleeping areas, this cabin sleeps 8. There is two bedrooms on the main floor and a king bedroom on the second floor. This cabin has a well-appointed kitchen and great room layout perfect for gathering around the wood stove, cooking meals, and unwinding at the end of a day. Off the great room is the first full bathroom. Above, is an open loft where you can play games, read books and cozy up on the couch. Just off the loft, in the main part of the cabin, is the first of two primary bedrooms, with a king bed and a ¾ bath. Also in the loft is a small sloped ceiling sleeping cubby with two twin XL beds and a nightstand. This room is close to a king bedroom and is perfect for sleeping small children. This cubby room has low ceilings, a window and does not have a closet.
One wing of the cabin boasts a second primary suite with a full bathroom. This room also accesses the back deck with hot tub, and a door to the best surprise, a huge sauna!
The second wing of the cabin hosts a full ski/snowboard waxing bench, washer and dryer and room to store everyone’s gear!
A ladder leads up to the second loft area where you will find two twin XL beds. Your teens will love this space as it is an escape from main cabin gathering spaces, and the owners made sure there are outlets for phones and other devices.
Outside you will find a large deck with propane BBQ, dining area, propane fire table, Adirondack chairs, yard and large covered hot tub.

Pet Rules:
We love pets and are glad that you’re bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person’s home.
1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in.
2. Maximum 1 Dog allowed (no cats)
3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions)
4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old.
5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever or while you are at the ski area.
7. Any damage caused by pets will incur charges for repair or replacement of structures or furnishings and must be paid immediately.
8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors.
9. All guests agree to adhere to rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances.
10. Any fines or violations will be charged to the guest.
Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.
Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There’s also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online. **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.
Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.
Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.
Parking Information
**Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required.
-Parking is not permitted on roads within the Mt Baker Rim community.
-Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.
- Manager is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay, and all vehicles MUST be parked in the driveway.
