Home details
Just like a glossy interiors spread brought to life, Villa Lulito balances white on white minimalism with traditional Balinese bamboo furniture and nautical elements. Enter through the towering central doorway for your first glimpse of the shimmering pool and dreamy villa. A balcony stretches all around the upper level, while dramatic palm trees frame an enviable pool that glows neon blue by night.
With four individual pavilions oriented around the pool, this villa is perfect for couples or families that are travelling together, as everyone has their own space with a multitude of areas for socialising. Eight adults can sleep here, or six adults and four children. The master bedroom is on the upper level and features king size beds with beautiful netting and reading lights.
Guest bedrooms on the lower floor feature gorgeous framed vintage art and photographs and lovely rattan chairs. Huge windows provide fresh air and flourishing garden views. Particularly suited for families with children, the fourth room has custom-built pod style bunk beds. All bedrooms have spacious ensuite bathrooms with freestanding tubs where you can take a luxurious rose petal bath - there are even kimonos for lounging in.
The open plan living space has an equipped kitchen and an array of seating with colourful scatter cushions where everyone can play cards and board games together. Location:
The villa is perfectly placed in Oberoi, just minutes from the beach on the fringes of glamorous Seminyak. Balinese people consider Oberoi beach as one of the holiest on the whole island. Ask the villa staff about upcoming festivals or ceremonies - if you’re lucky, seeing one of these colourful events might be the highlight of your holiday.
The villa is also walking distance to the atmospheric Petitenget beach. On this beach, you’ll find Pura Petitenget. This ancient temple is a significant link in the series of Danh Kahyangan temples along Bali’s west coast between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot. It’s said that in the 16th century a Hindu deity ensured the island would be protected from evil sea spirits.
Pura Petitenget has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays - a truly mesmerising way to experience the rich culture.
Bali is known as the ’Island of the Gods’ as it has so many enchanting temples. A visit to Pura Tanah Lot is a lovely mini excursion. This religious site atop a craggy wave-lashed rock formation is a popular sunset spot to watch the ocean turn to gold. However, if you visit in the morning you might see the temple in a more serene light accompanied by mostly locals.
Seminyak is home to hundreds of world-class restaurants and hip cafes, many of which are on the famous Eat Street. You could eat out at a different restaurant for months and never run out of options here! Alternatively, enjoy gourmet food prepared by the villa’s private chef. If you really want to treat yourself, you could charter a boat for a champagne sunset cruise.
Golf lovers will enjoy the famous New Kuta club or the Bali Beach Golf Course, while those looking to pamper themselves will find themselves in spa heaven! Fancy yoga studios are dotted all around Seminyak where guests can sign up for a taster class, or enjoy an indulgent Balinese massage or pedicure at one of the many spas.
The area around Seminyak beach is popular with surfers across Bali due to the powerful wave breaks. If you’d like to try surfing for yourself, there are numerous surf schools dotted around the island for you to learn from the pros. For sunset, visit one of the many atmospheric beach clubs or take a walk along the beach all the way to Canggu.
