Lovely stone cottage (120 sq. m.) recently restored maintaining and enhancing the original farm building style and features. The property, consisting of two inter-connecting units, is set in the countryside in the heart of the Chianti region, the ideal location for exploring Tuscany. Located just 2km from the charming village of Castellina in Chianti with some excellent bars, shops and restaurants. Some of best-known cities such as Monteriggioni (19km), Florence (50km), Siena and San Gimignano (both 30km) are within easy reach. The house is spread over two floors, with access to the exterior on both floors, and several terraces furnished with tables, chairs, loungers and umbrellas or awnings for al fresco dining. There is a large garden (not fenced) of approximately 1000 sq. m. to the rear of the property with a brick barbecue and pizza oven, and a further garden to the front with large fenced swimming pool (14m x 6m, depth 1.2m to 2.2m). The pool is shared with another villa for 5 people which is only used occasionally.
Lower floor: access from a covered terrace with table and chairs overlooking the pool; Entrance to living-dining room with satellite TV, sofa, dining table; bathroom with shower; kitchenette; stairs to the mezzanine. Mezzanine: double bed, door connecting to the rest of the upper level.
Laundry room with washing machine, rapper, iron and ironing axis on the ground floor.
Upper floor: access via a walled terrace with table, chairs and umbrella; external stairs to the living-dining room with satellite TV, sofa, dining table and kitchen; double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Access to the garden from the living room and the bedroom.
