The Dairy

The Dairy is a welcoming, two-bedroom cottage ideal for small families or couples looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday in North Devon. Nestled in the village of Combe Martin, just a short distance from Ilfracombe, the cottage is within easy reach of both Exmoor and the gorgeous beaches nearby. It’s also dog friendly so your pup can enjoy a fun-filled getaway too! The Dairy is the ideal cottage for couples or small families of four looking for a peaceful countryside break in North Devon but with plenty of things to do nearby. This single storey barn conversion is packed full of character with many original features, such as exposed stone walls and wood beams, retained during its renovation. The cottage has a good-sized open plan living area, which has been divided into a comfy lounge, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The lounge has two double sofas, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Behind the lounge is a pine country table to seat four. At the rear of the living area is the modern kitchen, which is fitted with everything guests will need when on a self-catering holiday, including an electric oven with hob, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. There is even a slow cooker which is perfect for the colder months! Off the main living area is the double bedroom, which has a built-in wardrobe. Down two small steps from the lounge is the bunk room, which has a tall chest of drawers. There is also a family bathroom with shower over the bath, a wash basin and a WC. Outside the cottage is the central courtyard where guests can relax, or alternatively the shared lawns around the farm are home to several picnic tables, there is also a dog walking/exercise field just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Dairy are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in. Free parking is available in the communal on-site car park. For families staying with young children, a travel cot, a high chair and stair gates can be made available at no additional cost and should be requested at the time of booking. Please note linen is not provided for the cot. If needed during your stay, guests can take advantage of the free on-site shared laundry room, which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The nearest train station to Combe Martin can be found 12 miles away in Barnstable. Barnstable Train Station has regular direct services operating to Exeter and Lynemouth. One bus route operates in Combe Martin. The 301 operates between Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. The nearest airport to Combe Martin is Cardiff Airport which is 33 miles away.
