Chalet Sandjeman is a modern five-bedroom chalet on the mountainside above Morzine. It is a peaceful retreat on the edge of the forest, yet only takes eight minutes to walk to the local bars and restaurants close to the Mairie de Morzine. A further four-minute walk will take you to the central square next to the Morzine Tourist Board, close to Pléney and Super Morzine lifts.
The chalet has a beautiful glass. metal and stone central staircase. From this, the chalet is cleverly arranged across half levels, which span four floors to create a cosy retreat with plenty of space for 12 guests. The chalet is made of larch, giving it a warm atmosphere inside, and generous terraces and balconies on each floor allow you to make the most of the chalet’s forest and mountain views.
The heart of the chalet is the second floor where you’ll find a modern, open-plan kitchen and dining area with a table that seats 12 people. Whip up your own meals on the big kitchen island or let us arrange for a private chef to come in and cook for you, on request. We can also arrange pre-cooked meals to be delivered to your chalet if you prefer.
Half a level up, you’ll find a living room area with a TV nook and a large sofa for socialising by the crackling fireplace. There’s also a selection of board games and speakers for fun nights in your chalet.
More places to unwind can be found on the third floor where a second living room boasts mountain views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. From here, a hidden wooden door leads to a wellness area with a spa treatment room, shower and access to the outdoor barrel sauna and hot tub, offering uninterrupted views of the forest. If you would like a spa treatment in your chalet, you can look at the treatment list within our concierge brochure. We will arrange for a therapist to visit the chalet, a service which is available at extra cost.
The chalet’s master bedroom makes the most of the mountain panorama on level 4 and features an en-suite with a bathtub. There are three more double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms on level 3. Each one has floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony. Kids can have their own hang-out area on level 1 in the bunk room. It has four single beds, a TV lounge and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bathtub.
On the same level is the entrance hall for the chalet, which leads off to a fully-equipped laundry room, a WC and the ski and boot storage room with heated boots racks. You also have access to the double garage. There are additional 3 parking spaces outside of the chalet.
