An ideal fit for larger families, groups, or 3 vacationing couples, this high-altitude hideaway has all the comforts of home.
Perched on the sunny slopes in Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Mountain Homes have direct ski access to the Moonlight and Madison Base areas and are a lift ride away from endless Big Sky outdoor activities. Your luxurious mountain home is beautifully secluded yet only a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s hub Mountain Village, and a 45-minute scenic drive to the geological wonders of West Yellowstone.
SKI ACCESS
Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort’s closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
Step off the back deck of your Big Sky Montana rental cabin onto the Gambler ski access trail. Ski through the tunnel below you. Follow Gambler access out to Powder River Ski Run which will take you right to the Moonlight Lodge and the Ironhorse chair lift. (Green access)
Ski In:
From the top of Ironhorse or Six Shooter lifts, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. Stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel. Take your first right and travel over the skier bridge. This is the Gambler Way access. Your home will be the second on the right.
