Nearby, the picturesque Looking Glass Falls provides a serene spot for visitors to enjoy the soothing sounds of cascading water.
For those seeking a more leisurely experience, the Blue Ridge Parkway runs along the eastern edge of the forest, offering stunning scenic drives with numerous overlooks to take in the majestic mountain vistas.
