Quiet residential area on large parcels (lots of space), with large ranches on the outside. The Sapphire Mountains are right up the street, with endless public land and wilderness.
The town of Stevensville is ten easy minutes away, featuring breweries, distilleries, great food of all kinds, and all necessary amenities.
Also just ten minutes away is the Bitterroot River, offering some of the best fly fishing in the country. Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge is also in Stevensville, with spectacular wildlife viewing.
You have access to the entire property during your stay.
The cabin sits on eight acres of mixed habitat. Parking is on a flat gravel driveway right next to the cabin at the bottom of the property, so no extra walking or lugging is needed. Behind the cabin sits a riparian area full of beautiful trees, a small creek, and wildlife. Behind that is a grassy hill that rises to a Sage flat with striking 360 degree mountain views (it’s worth the short hike!).
The cabin has two bedrooms, one being a loft. There is one full bath (tub and shower!) on the bottom floor. The cabin was built in Spring of 2023 by local professionals with modern, high-end finishes and furniture. The kitchen is fully outfitted, and there is a grill outside. There is an electric faux-wood stove in the main living area, so you can enjoy the heat and ambience of a wood stove without any actual burning or safety risk. The cabin has wi-fi, a smart TV, and laundry!
Please also enjoy outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a hot tub!
The final stretch (just a couple hundred yards) of the road to the property is unpaved, but it is in great condition, and can be traveled by any kind of vehicle. It is also plowed in the winter.
The road cycling in this area is excellent, and endless mountain biking exists in any direction.
