In this area, there are numerous sites from Roman times, such as the remains of former houses, parts of wool production and fabric dyeing plants, oil mills from the 4th century, two large rustic Roman villas covered with colorful marble mosaics, as well as the early Christian three-nave basilica of St. Andrew with mosaics, sarcophagi and slabs carved in the 7th century.
