The Longhouse is a traditional, stone, long barn, beautifully converted into a high quality holiday cottage just for two, set down a country lane outside the village of Llanteg. Step into the open plan living space with modern, fitted kitchen and comfortable sofas to relax on, French doors open to an enclosed paved patio and lawned garden. It is deceptively spacious and stylishly furnished with contemporary and traditional pieces which compliment the retained original features of exposed stone work and A frame beams. Uninterrupted rural views can be enjoyed from nearly every room. The study provides additional space to read, while the bedroom is a delightful retreat. Neighbouring The Corner, the owners home, the extensive shared garden has been cleverly divided with natural screening and landscaping to give each cottage its own individual space, ideal for sitting out on the patio and enjoying an al fresco meal on a summer’s evening.Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird and wildlife lovers, follow the no-through road from the cottage and take the footpath through the woodland down to Amroth beach where you can enjoy refreshments as there are several pubs, restaurants and cafes before the walk home. Explore the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starting with the quieter beach of Marros which neighbours Amroth and travel West along the coast to Wiseman’s Bridge and on to Saundersfoot and Tenby.A visit to the nearby Colby Woodlands and Gardens should not be missed the colourful displays of Rhododendrons and Azaleas are a delight. This is the perfect getaway for couples whatever the season. One Level Accommodation - This denotes that a bedroom, bathroom or shower room, whb/wc, living area and kitchen are on one level - guests must check the property access statement on the website or request a copy via email to base their decision on, if this is important to your stay.

This quaint seaside resort is nestled on the shores of Carmarthen Bay and is a jewel in the crown of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The village's main attraction is its beautiful, sandy beach, which stretches out to provide a perfect setting for sunbathing, sandcastle building, and leisurely strolls. The beach is also a favorite for water sports enthusiasts, offering conditions suitable for swimming, kayaking, and sailing. The coastal waters around Saundersfoot are teeming with marine life, making it an excellent spot for fishing and boat trips, which often include excursions to nearby Caldey Island, home to a community of Cistercian monks.
Saundersfoot's harbor is a bustling hub of activity, where visitors can watch local fishermen land their daily catch or embark on a coastal cruise to explore the stunning shoreline. The harbor area has undergone significant redevelopment, enhancing its appeal with a mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants that serve fresh, locally sourced seafood and other culinary delights.
For those interested in history and culture, Saundersfoot has a rich mining heritage, with old coal mines that once thrived in the area. The village is part of the larger network of walking trails, including the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and opportunities to discover hidden coves and beaches.
The village also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim, which sees hundreds of brave souls take a dip in the chilly waters for charity. The annual Saundersfoot Harbour Festival is another highlight, celebrating the maritime heritage with music, food, and family-friendly activities.
For a more relaxed experience, visitors can indulge in the local wellness offerings, including spa treatments that incorporate the therapeutic qualities of the sea.
