Two steps lead up to this charming cottage, with its spacious fitted kitchen/diner and dual aspect sitting room which offers super rural views.Comfortably furnished throughout, some original features have been retained adding character, while wooden and tiled floors offer practicality. Stairs lead up to the bedrooms and bathroom above each with lovely rural views. Enjoy relaxing with a drink or an alfresco meal on the front terrace on a summer’s evening as you soak up the wonderful view over the fields, the sunsets are often glorious. Alternatively the children will love playing on the communal playing field, while adults can gather round the barbecue area and fire pit. There is a small farm shop with limited opening hours offering basic essentials only a short walk away, enjoy a meal at Charlies Restaurant in Reynalton or treat yourself to a spa treatment all located on the Croft Holiday Park, alternatively the Jeffreyston Inn serving food is only in the next village. Keen walkers and dog owners will love exploring the maze of footpaths and narrow country lanes, while cyclists can take advantage of the secure undercover bike racks and washing off facilities offered on the site. The beautiful Cleddau Estuary or Secret waterway popular with sailers and kayakers is less than 4 miles away, the area teams with bird and wildlife, it remains largely unchanged with many local pubs nestling on its banks and sleepy villages where you can get refreshments and watch the world go by over a pint including Cresswell Arms, Lawrenny Arms, Lawrenny Tea Rooms and Martletwy Vineyard. The bustling market town of Narberth nearby is well worth a visit with a good selection of independent shops, restaurants, galleries, delicatessen and antiques market to wander. Or head to the stunning coastline only 7 miles away. The best way to appreciate its beauty is via the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path on foot, heading east from Saundersfoot through the tunnels, a relic of its industrial past to Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth there are plenty of beachside restaurants and pubs where you can enjoy a meal gazing out to sea. Or to the west lies the medieval walled town of Tenby with its quaint cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and 4 beautiful sandy beaches.
