Lilac Cottage, a pretty, modern, semi-detached cottage, one of a pair set in the heart of the popular village of St Florence with its village shop and pub within walking distance and only 4 miles from the seaside town of Tenby and its glorious sandy beaches.The enclosed front garden is a lovely spot to sit with your morning coffee and watch village life, a paved path leads to the stable door and into the cottage, comfortably furnished with practical laminate floor throughout. The sitting room makes a welcome retreat to relax while the modern, fitted, kitchen with farmhouse-style dining table is well-equipped for preparing family meals, French doors open to the enclosed, rear courtyard garden with 4 steps up to a split-level, raised decked area where you can dine alfresco, this is a real sun-trap and not overlooked.On the first floor there is a bathroom and 3 prettily appointed bedrooms with a spacious double and twin room and a smaller single children’s room with a raised bed.Conveniently located, there is a village shop and a pub all within easy walking distance serving good food, as well as a garden centre with popular cafe. The area is perfect for keen walkers, set in the Ritec Valley, there are an abundance of footpaths and quiet pretty flower filled lanes to explore. Spend your days on the beach, the medieval town of Tenby with its quaint cobble streets, picturesque harbour and glorious sandy beaches is only 4 miles away. There are a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops to try or alternatively, take a fishing trip or a boat trip to the stunning island of Caldey Island with its unique peaceful atmosphere, home to the Cistercian Monks.There are a choice of other seaside villages to explore including Saundersfoot, Amroth and Manorbier with its medieval Castle and pretty sandy bay. Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path on foot to really appreciate this super coastline, many of the beaches are popular with water sports enthusiasts including surfers, paddle boarders and kayakers.Golfing enthusiasts can take advantage of the two nearby golf courses, Trefloyne Golf Course or Tenby Golf Course, both only a few minutes’ drive away.
