The Rath Cottage is a delightful retreat sharing the same drive as the main holiday house, The Rath, in the pretty seaside village of Saundersfoot, tucked away it is only a few minutes walk down to its beautiful sandy beaches, selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.This charmingly converted cottage has a wonderful contemporary feel and is a perfect escape just for two. The open-plan living space with fitted kitchen and comfortable seating area where you can relax has French doors opening to your own enclosed terrace, an ideal sunny sheltered spot where you can enjoy an alfesco meal or a drink on a summer’s evening. A comfortable bedroom overlooking the garden completes the cottage.With Saundersfoot and its glorious sandy beaches so close, spend your days on the beach, trying one of the many water sports on offer, or take the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore the coastline, heading east through the tunnels, a relic of Saundersfoot’s mining past to the neighbouring beach of Coppet Hall. Popular with families, enjoy a meal at the highly recommended Lan y Môr Restaurant. Further on is Wiseman’s Bridge with its popular Inn of the same name where you can refresh with a pint or a meal overlooking the sea ready for the return journey.Amroth with its pretty promenade and selection of beachside pubs, cafes and shops is also popular.
