Located on Beech Mountain, Wishlist is just 5 minutes from year-round adventure at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, which offers skiing, snowboarding, and summer activities such as mountain biking and hiking. The nearby Buckeye Recreation Center provides family-friendly fun, while the Village of Beech Mountain offers local dining and shopping just minutes away. A 20-minute drive takes you to Banner Elk, where you can enjoy the Banner Elk Winery, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, gem mining, and more at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
Wishlist is a spacious 3-level retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. The main level living room has vaulted ceilings and warm tongue-and-groove paneling, anchored by a cozy stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace. Plush seating invites guests to unwind and watch a movie by the fire. The dining area includes a large table for six, a live-edge bar with seating for three, and a breakfast nook perfect for four. The bright kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, is ideal for meal prep. The expansive deck spans the length of the home, offering outdoor dining with stunning mountain views. On the lower level, the game room provides extra space for fun, with a pool table, a TV, and a second gas fireplace. Sliding glass doors open to the lower deck, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air or relax with a good book while taking in the views.
Wishlist offers four comfortable bedrooms, accommodating ten guests. The main floor master bedroom features a king bed, TV, deck access, and an ensuite bathroom with double vanities and a step-in shower. On the top floor are two full bedrooms, both equipped with TVs, sharing a full bathroom. The loft area adds extra sleeping space with a queen sleeper sofa. The fourth bedroom, located off the lower-level game room, has a queen bed, with an additional full bathroom nearby for convenience.Additional sleeping accommodations include a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the loft.
Guests have WiFi, central heating, and a washer and dryer. There is no air conditioning at Wishlist. Roast marshmallows around the wood-burning fire pit below the house. Two dogs are welcome with your reservation, subject to an additional pet fee. *Please note: there are exterior security cameras that capture the parking areas, stairs, and main entrance. The home has parking for three vehicles, and access is via a short flight of stairs and an extended deck. During winter months (Oct–March), 4-wheel drive or AWD is strongly recommended, and chains may be required during snow or icy conditions.
