Welcome to your dream retreat on the Flathead River in Bigfork, Montana. This 4-bed, 2 full bath, 2-half bath home offers a private boat dock, fire pit and outdoor seating for friends and family to gather and enjoy 360-degree views of Swan Mountain and the Flathead River.
As you step inside you walk into the living room that features a wood-burning fireplace, exposed beams that create an inviting atmosphere and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Flathead River. On the main level there is a bedroom, one full and two half bathrooms, a media room and access to the backyard. Head upstairs and you’ll find two bedrooms with queens sized bed, an additional room with bunk beds and a full bathroom. Before making your way downstairs, enjoy the loft which is perfect for the kids to hang out and relax after a long day on the river.
Downstairs you will find the master bedroom with a private en-suite bathroom which also has direct access to the hot tub. You will also find a media room to sit back and watch a movie together. From there you will access the kitchen with top of the line appliances, the spacious dining room for hosting family dinner, the living room to relax after a long day exploring and the laundry room. From the open concept this house provides, you have multiple accesses to the amenities outside including the hot tub, grill, fire pit and private dock.
In the winter, the Flathead Valley is famous for its world-class skiing and wide range of winter activities. There are two ski resorts in the area including the local favorite Whitefish Mountain Resort and the family-friendly Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Whitefish Mountain Resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! Visitors to the area can also enjoy ice fishing on Flathead Lake, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in Glacier National Park, and snowmobiling with one of the local outfitters.
In the summer, enjoy all the water sports imaginable at Swan Lake! Glacier National Park is also close by with the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! Make sure you take time to experience downtown Bigfork boasting shops, galleries, restaurants and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. There are activities for everyone from hiking the Swan River Nature Trail, exploring the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, fishing the many lakes & rivers or golfing at any of the exceptional courses, including Eagle Bend Golf Course.
