Stay in both our delightful 4-bedroom country house and 1-bedroom cottage, nestled in the the tranquil and picturesque hamlet of Pitchcombe, a stone’s throw from the bustling market town of Stroud and the idyllic town of Painswick, known as the Queen of the Cotswolds.
This charming retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort, making it an ideal getaway for families, friends, or anyone looking to escape to the serene countryside.
The country house offers 4 spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms, each designed for comfort and relaxation, and the cottage offers a stunning bedroom and sofa bed, meaning the two homes can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.
In the main house, there is a cosy living room with plush seating, a traditional fireplace, and large windows offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The centre of the home is our country-style kitchen with modern appliances, perfect for preparing delicious meals and a stunning dining area in front of the bifold doors, overlooking the beautiful garden. With 3 gorgeous bathrooms and a downstairs toilet in the house, you certainly won’t be fighting over the shower in the morning either!
We also have a single sofa bed/futon in the top floor study, if anyone needs their own space during your stay!
The outside space boasts a lovely garden at the house with a patio area, ideal for al fresco dining, morning coffees, or simply soaking in the tranquillity of the countryside and another terrace at the back of the garden, with another outdoor dining table.
Extra bonus is the pebbled driveway area right outside the cottage, with a table and chairs perfect for morning coffees or something stronger in the evening! We also have pocket-sized private lawn at the cottage too!
Our two homes provide a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. Explore the scenic walking trails with the Cotswolds Way on the doorstop, visit the nearby town of Stroud with its vibrant market on Saturday morning, or take a drive through the stunning Cotswolds. Pitchcombe is a peaceful and quiet village, perfect for a relaxing family break. Please note, this property is not suitable for parties.
We’re only 2.5 miles (a 10 min taxi ride) from Stroud train station which is also only 1h 20 mins by train to London Paddington. There’s an Enterprise car hire in Stroud for those that would like to hire a car to get around.
