Salve Regina is a charming holiday home set on a gentle hill with
panoramic views over the Val di Pesa landscape. Traditional features
blend beautifully with modern touches, making it equally suited for a
relaxing holiday with family or friends. Thanks to its close proximity
to Florence, the city known as the cradle of the Renaissance can easily
be explored.
The small town of Tavernuzze is just a five-minute drive away and
offers bars, restaurants and shops, including a COOP supermarket. The
medieval hilltop town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa is also nearby. A
good local restaurant is the Baracchina in Percussina restaurant, which
can be reached on foot in less than ten minutes. Florence is only about
13 km away, while Siena and San Gimignano are ideal destinations for
day trips.
The holiday home enjoys a peaceful countryside location and is painted
in a warm cream colour. Well-kept gardens with olive and fruit trees
surround the property. Several terraces and seating areas invite you to
linger: a dining table under a pergola covered with vines, another
dining area beneath a loggia, as well as a pizza oven and barbecue.
Below the house lies the large private pool, the perfect spot to relax
and take in the views.
Inside, authentic Tuscan charm is combined with comfort. Barrel-vaulted
brick ceilings and terracotta floors are paired with pale walls and
carefully chosen furnishings to create a stylish atmosphere. Spread
across two floors, the house offers several bedrooms, including one
with en-suite bathroom and separate entrance - ideal for guests who
prefer extra privacy.
