This gorgeous 2,300 square foot home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Perfect for a large group of family and/or friends, the open concept layout offers spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. The indoor living area provides ample seating, a fireplace, and a TV as well as deck access. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, cooking and dining essentials, and plenty of space for multiple chefs. The dining table seats 8 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Downstairs you’ll find the first full bathroom complete with shower/tub combo. Upstairs you’ll find the master suite which includes a king-size bed, TV, private deck, as well as an attached master bathroom with walk-in shower and vanity. The master bedroom also includes a large walk-in closet with plenty of space. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed. The third full bathroom features a shower/tub combo. Ideal for the kids, the bunk room includes two sets of bunk beds and plenty of space. The fourth bedroom offers a queen-size bed while the fifth bedroom features a twin day bed and a TV. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. Outside you’ll find over 400 square feet of covered porches and a 500 square foot shaded deck to enjoy all day long and into those glorious star-studded Hill Country Nights! Relax out on the deck or in the bar and grill pavilion after an afternoon spent playing in our swimming hole at the Blanco River just across the street. Enjoy the new pool complete with a tanning shelf for the loungers and little ones, splash about in the pool or relax in the generous hot tub. Challenge a friend to a friendly game of ping pong while you sip on a beverage - now that’s Hill Country Living! Only three miles to downtown Wimberley Shepherd’s Lodge is a wonderful, centrally-located launching pad to enjoy all the Wimberley Valley has to offer from playing and swimming at Blue Hole Regional Park, shopping the historic Square and Wimberley Market Days, catching a movie at the legendary Corral Outdoor Movie Theatre, enjoying Hill Country cuisine and wines at local restaurants and vineyards, or browsing one of the fine local art galleries. Blue Hole, one of Texas’ finest swimming holes, is just down the road. Shepherd’s Lodge is fabulous for the exercise enthusiast. Act like a local and enjoy walking, jogging, or cycling Flite Acres Road, Little Arkansas Road, or Little Ranches (it gets hilly fast!). Blue Hole Park (2 miles) also offers 4+ miles of easy trails for pedestrians and cyclists in addition to a playground and a basketball and sand volleyball court. *The home is located in the heart of one of the finest acreage communities in Wimberley. We love our neighbors and want to be extremely considerate of their peace and property! Noise curfew is in effect from 9pm-8am. *You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times for this home is 12 guests. We manage several nearby rental properties and therefore often have staff in the area. Please come and have a good time, but remember that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive to surrounding neighbors will result in you forfeiting the remainder of your stay. *There is a limit of 4 vehicles unless otherwise approved.
