This 2-story 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home is a one-acre property in the exclusive Northwood area of Ketchum. Over one hundred windows create a magnificent open feeling to the home and give the home lots of light.
The main level houses the living area, kitchen, dining and 2 of the 4 bedrooms. The living room has high ceilings for great light and a spectacular stone fireplace, plus a 60-inch flat-screen TV. The fully stocked cherry wood and custom southwest tile kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a wrap-around counter island. A breakfast nook located in the sunroom off the kitchen offers views of Baldy. The sunroom has an upright piano and a door to the large outdoor deck with a gas grill. The deck wraps around the back of the house and leads to a large private hot tub. The open formal dining area seats 10. There is a large laundry room and pantry with a full-size washer/dryer just off the kitchen. The main entry is adjacent to a beautiful courtyard with a fountain that leads into a bright entry area with a spacious cedar closet. A glass door brings you to the hall with a half bath. To your right is the first high-ceiling bedroom which has a Queen bed, flat-screen TV, and a door to the deck. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and no TV. These bedrooms share a hallway bath with a single vanity sink and tub/shower combo.
Upstairs are the Master suite and a second Master suite located down a beautiful sky bridge with great views. The main Master has a King bed, a 45-inch flat-screen TV, and a sitting area. The master bath is large and spacious with 2 sinks, a soaker tub, and a separate shower. The other Master suite has a king bed and 36-inch flat-screen TV with a single sink, shower tub combination bathroom. High ceilings and windows are the theme throughout the house.
Only minutes from downtown Ketchum, Sun Valley, and Bald Mountain, it feels as if you are deep in the woods. A short walk to the Bigwood bakery, a scenic walk to the river, and a quick hike to Adams Gulch all can be done in the same morning. You will often see deer or elk walking through the property. There is access to fishing off Northwood Way and Hemmingway’s Home can be spotted. If you want shuttle access there is a stop at Northwood Way and Saddle Rd.
PLEASE NOTE: Garages are not available for guest parking. Also, the two woodstoves in the bedrooms are out of order and cannot be used. THERE IS NO A/C IN THIS HOME. No pets allowed. This unit is professionally managed, and all check-ins are at the Property Manager Office, conveniently located on South Main Street in Ketchum. Self-check-in is not available at the property. We strive to make check-in as quick and easy as possible so you can start enjoying your vacation! Reservations are unit-specific. We do everything possible to keep your reservation in the same property you’ve reserved. If the property has a maintenance emergency, we will contact you with the option to move your reservation to a property of equal or greater value, at no additional cost.
