Dear guests, We want to inform you about a few policies regarding your stay at our Riverstone Retreat Bovec. We kindly ask that you read and respect these policies during your stay: - Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited. Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas. -We kindly ask all residents and guests to observe quiet hours between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. During this time, please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum. -The minimum age for guests booking our house is 18 years old. -Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in our house. -A pre-check-in form must be filled out before check-in to ensure a smooth arrival process. -The tourist tax in Bovec is 2 EUR per guest per night and must be paid with a credit card before check-out. Please note that this tax is not included in the rental price. -A security deposit of 150 € must be paid with a credit card up to 7 days before arrival. The deposit will be refunded by credit card up to 3 days after check-out, provided there is no damage to the property. The following are the recommended routes and driving instructions from different directions: Driving from the North If you are coming from Ljubljana, head towards Tarvisio and then turn for Bovec. Another option is to take the road sign for Bovec in Kranjska Gora, which will take you over the Vršic Pass, although the Predil Pass is the recommended route for a faster journey. When coming from Austria (Klagenfurt & Villach), head for Udine and take the first exit when entering Italy at Tarvisio. Follow the road signs for Bovec and go over the Predil Pass. Driving from the South If your starting point is in Slovenia, the easiest way is to drive to Nova Gorica and then head north along the Soča River all the way to Bovec. For travellers starting in Italy, it is recommended to find your way to Cividale, which can be reached via the motorway to Udine and then continuing towards Cividale. From there, follow the route for Kobarid and then Bovec. Public Bus to Bovec Buses from Bovec offer routes towards south, going to Tolmin and from there either towards Nova Gorica, Most na Soči train station, and Ljubljana. There is at least 1 daily bus to Ljubljana regardless of the season, providing accessibility for travellers using public transportation. Bus from Bovec over Vršic Pass to Kranjska Gora During summer, a bus connection over Vršic Pass is available, offering a scenic and memorable mountain road journey. Several daily bus rides are offered in July and August, with some reductions in June and September. Most buses go to Kranjska Gora, with one continuing to Ljubljana. Train to Bovec Most na Soči train station is the closest to Bovec and provides connections to destinations such as Nova Gorica and Jesenice, which offers access to Ljubljana and Villach (A). Jesenice train station also serves as a connection point for buses to Kranjska Gora, allowing travellers to continue their journey to Bovec. Security Deposit of EUR150 to be collected upon arrival.
