***IMPORTANT: Home will be undergoing renovations to the front yard and landscaping and adding a pool with construction starting November 2024 to May 2025. Entire front yard will be tarped off and under construction during the project. As such, rental amounts for stays during that period have been discounted accordingly.***

Del Mar is an exclusive and scenic coastal enclave known for its charming village vibe, offering a luxurious coastal lifestyle with ample outdoor recreation like hiking trails, parks, and the Torrey Pines State Reserve bordering the town. It is revered for its beautiful beaches, scenic coastal bluffs, and the rare Torrey Pine trees that only grow naturally in Del Mar and on Santa Rosa Island. The historic downtown area, known as Del Mar Village, along Camino Del Mar, is renowned for its alluring atmosphere, rich history, and European charm. It is is pedestrian-friendly and features high-end shops, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. Del Mar is also home to the famous Del Mar Racetrack which hosts prestigious horse races during summer and fall racing seasons. Here are the main beaches in Del Mar: Del Mar City Beach: This is the main beach in Del Mar, stretching from 15th Street/Powerhouse Park to the border with Solana Beach. It is divided into: South Beach: A quieter section popular with surfers, accessed mostly by residents. Main Beach: The most popular section for beachgoers, with wide sandy beaches, lifeguard towers, bathrooms, and adjacent parks like Powerhouse Park and Seagrove Park. Great for swimming, sunbathing, picnics, and beach walks. North Beach (Dog Beach): The northern section where dogs are allowed off-leash, hence the nickname "Dog Beach." Torrey Pines State Beach: Located just south of Del Mar City Beach, this is a scenic beach within the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. It offers great hiking trails along the cliffs and is a bit less crowded than Del Mar City Beach. Powerhouse Park & Beach: A small beach area adjacent to the grassy Powerhouse Park, popular with families as it has a playground and is more sheltered from winds. Other smaller beaches in Del Mar include Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach just north of the Del Mar border, and Cardiff State Beach a bit further north in the community of Cardiff-by-the-Sea.

Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
  • Guests who book a home or villa that is located in the state of California may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 24-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 3 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

  • • Treat the Home with Care: Please treat the property as you would your own. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.
  • • No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited. This includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, and similar products. Violation will result in immediate eviction, loss of the security deposit, and a $500 cleaning fee.
  • • No Unauthorized Pets: Pets are only allowed with prior written permission and a $150 pet fee. Unauthorized pets may result in eviction and additional charges.
  • • Noise and Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors. Excessive noise complaints may result in early termination without a refund.
  • • No Parties or Events: Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed. Violations will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate eviction.
  • • No Commercial Use: Commercial film or photography requires prior written approval.
  • 2. Check-In and Check-Out
  • • Check-In: From 4 PM. Early check-in may be available with prior approval.
  • • Check-Out: By 10 AM. Late check-outs without approval will result in a fee of $100/hour or 50% of the daily rate, whichever is greater.
  • 3. Occupancy and Parking
  • • Maximum Occupancy: As specified in your booking. Exceeding the limit may result in eviction and a $200 fee per additional person, per day.
  • • Parking: Limited to designated areas. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the guest’s expense.
  • 4. Cleaning and Maintenance
  • • Standard Cleaning: The home will be cleaned before your arrival. Guests must maintain general cleanliness and use designated trash bins.
  • • Excessive Cleaning Fees: Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning (e.g., pet feces, excessive sand, furniture stained, excessive pet hair).
  • • Hot Tub and Pool Use: Keep sand and debris out of the hot tub. Misuse will incur a $300 cleaning fee.
  • 5. Damages and Security Deposit
  • • Report any damage immediately. Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from your security deposit or charged to your credit card.
  • • Lost keys or access devices will result in a replacement fee.
  • 6. Safety and Liability
  • • Guest Safety: Use facilities such as pools and trampolines at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for personal injury or loss.
  • • Emergency Contact: For emergencies, dial 911. For urgent property-related issues, contact our 24-hour support line.
  • 7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • • Cancellation: No refunds for cancellations within 60 days of arrival. Refunds for cancellations more than 60 days before arrival are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
  • • Unavailability: If the property is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
  • 8. Additional Rules
  • • Trash Management: Dispose of trash properly in designated bins. Excessive trash removal may result in additional fees.
  • • Approved Guests Only: Only registered guests are allowed. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate eviction.
  • 9. Final Agreement
  • By booking and staying at the property, you agree to these rules. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, eviction, and forfeiture of any security deposit.
