Mikaela’s Pool House is located within a 15-minute walking distance from Afandou village, close to all kinds of conveniences such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, and car rentals. Also, they’re quite close to the cleanest beach of the island, Afandou beach, in an only 5-minute drive. The crystal-clear blue water of the sea deepens abruptly as you walk in, making swimming really exciting and enjoyable. The villa is also close to some of the best beaches of the island in close proximity to Afandou beach. You can also find the golf course of the island. Along this beautiful beach visitors can find coffee shops and bars serving cold drinks, as well as restaurants serving fish and traditional food. The suites are also close to the best beach of the island Tsampika only a 15-minute drive. This beach stretches over 1 km and combines soft, golden sand with crystal clear and shallow waters. The airport of Rhodes is found at a driving distance of only 25 minutes.

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

  • At Mikaela's Pool House we encourage our guests to feel like home and like in every home we respect and treat the property with responsibility and courtesy by following some basic rules.
  • General Rules:
  • -Quiet Hours
  • Summer common silence hours 15:00 to 17:30 & 23:00 to 07:00
  • Winter common silence hours 15:30 to 17:30 & 22:00 to 07:30
  • -Parties & Loud music
  • Our guests are kindly requested to respect the neighbors. Loud music & parties are not allowed in our property.
  • -Damages
  • Nobody will intentionally damage things in the accommodation, but it can happen to anyone that things break. We are pleased if you inform us about damages and we do not have to find out after your departure or when the next tenants move in. Please note that broken furniture, equipment etc. must be reported to the host immediately and in some cases will be charged.
  • -Keys – Remote Controls
  • In case of loss of keys (failure to deliver the same number of keys provided on arrival) and/or damage on remote controls additional charge will be applied.
  • -Forbidden Items
  • The following items are not allowed in the accommodation unit or anywhere on the outside areas of the property: firearms, easy flammable & explosive substances, substances with strong unpleasant odors.
  • -Departure / Arrival
  • Check In starts from 14:00pm
  • Check Out at 10:00am
  • During your stay:
  • -Please respect the maximum number of occupants at all times. Guests can be visited by their friends during the day, but guests are obliged to inform the owner about it. Unreported guests are not allowed to stay in the accommodation unit.
  • -Smoking only outdoors.
  • -Pets are not allowed.
  • -In Greece we use the bins for used papers, cotton buds, sanitary napkins, tampons, cotton swabs etc
  • -We all think green so before you leaving the house make sure you have turned off all the air conditioners as well as all the electrical appliances. When operating the air conditioners do not leave windows and doors open to avoid power consumption and any air conditioning damage.
  • -Food leftovers are to be disposed of with the residual waste in the bins.
  • -During any possible bad weather we kindly ask our guests to close all the windows, all the balcony doors & the sunshades. Windows and doors should be also closed when leaving the house.
  • -It is forbidden to deteriorate furniture, decoration or property itself & remove anything from this property at any time for any reason. This applies for all the areas of the house (indoor/outdoor).
  • -Guests are kindly requested to take care of their belongings & valuables left in the house. Safes are available for keeping your valuables like money, jewelry & personal documents.
  • -You are kindly requested & responsible to look after the order and cleanliness of the house during your stay.
  • Proper Outdoor Operation:
  • -Please do not leave your rubbish outdoors, there is a risk of collecting insects or rodents.
  • -We ask from the possible smokers to dispose of the cigarette remains in the ashtrays which are available in all outdoor areas and should be used.
  • Before departure:
  • -It is desirable to leave the house in the state it was when you got there.
  • -Please throw away all your rubbish, wash all the dishes and collect all the used linen in the bathroom.
  • -You shall not remove any of the house's belongings to keep them as a souvenir.
  • These and some other simple rules that will be specified in detailed upon your arrival will be courteously but firmly enforced and supervised by the house owner. We kindly ask your cooperation in maintaining an environment that encourages relaxation and enjoyment.
