It is perfect for those looking to relax and explore Victoria’s stunning landscapes, this getaway blends the comfort of seclusion with the allure of coastal and outdoor adventures.
This countryside getaway is close to natural wonders like the Den of Nargun and the Buchan caves, perfect for adventurers. Where vacationers can relax at the nearby Metung Hot Springs or explore the expansive Ninety Mile Beach.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.

- Guests can access the tiny home and the surrounding areas.
- No access is allowed to the creek and the walking trail behind the land because of the slope. The main access is around 50 meters through the walking path.
By car:
- A 4-hour drive covering 300 kilometers connects Melbourne to Metung.
- From Bairnsdale train station, Metung is just a 30-minute drive away.
- Traveling from Metung to Lakes Entrance? Expect a short 20-minute drive covering 20 kilometers.
- The entire route is reachable with 2WD and 4WD vehicles.
By public transport: We recommend guests travel by private vehicle. However, if you want to travel by public transport from Melbourne. You may follow these steps:
- You can take a train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Bairnsdale. Make sure to check the schedule for departure times.
- From Bairnsdale, catch a local bus to Metung. Buses may not run frequently, so check the timetable in advance. Local taxis are available but we recommend "CONFIRMING WITH LAND HOST FIRST."
Additional Tips:
- Always check the latest bus and train schedules before you travel.
- Remember to consider booking your train tickets in advance, especially during peak times.
- WiFi is currently not available
- BBQ Grill is available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed in certain areas on the property
- Outdoor log fire pit with firewood supplied. Please bring your own fire starter.
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone; The rest have weak signals
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
