Only minutes from the Mountain Village and a scenic 45 minute drive from Yellowstone National Park, this chalet is ideally located for summer adventures or winter escapes. Spanning 2,600 square feet, this luxury mountain sanctuary comfortably sleeps eight in beds (ten guests max, including sofa sleeper) and is the ideal choice for groups traveling together.
The elegant Western-inspired interior design and luxe finishes in the living area make for the perfect place to unwind after a fun day on the trails. Relax by the wood burning fireplace or curl up and watch a movie on the flat screen TV. The gourmet kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances, and all the amenities. Gather at the eight person dining table or simply pull up a chair at the three seat breakfast bar. Sliding doors lead out onto the large wrap around deck, hosting a private hot tub, propane grill, and outdoor seating options.

SKI ACCESS
Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort’s closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
Step off back deck onto the Gambler ski access. This will take you to the Powder River trail towards the Moonlight Lodge and the Ironhorse lift.
Ski In:
From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, follow signs for Powder River. Ski through the concrete tunnel towards the bottom left and bear right onto the Gambler ski access. Follow this access which brings you behind the Moonlight Mountain homes on Indian Summer.
