Ski Access: Ski Access is King at Lodgeside 83D, a short walk across the parking lot and you will have direct ski in ski out access to Big Sky Resort and 5,850 acres of the biggest skiing in America! Lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. No access until lifts open. Ski Out: The ski trail is located directly across from the parking lot and connects to Powder River and the Ironhorse Lift. Simply cross the lot towards the Moonlight Lodge. To the left of the lodge, you can access the ski trail. Very convenient! Ski In: Take Blue Moon back to the Ironhorse lift. Or get to the top of Six-Shooter. At the top follow signs for Powder River. Ski through the concrete tunnel and past the first skier bridge on your right. Take a hard right turn on Natawista which is the first right after the bridge. Follow this access over two skier bridges. Local’s Tip: DO NOT turn left off the main path. It will transition to Bootlegger which will bring you back to the Lodgeside properties near the Moonlight Lodge.
