PLEASE NOTE: During the Winter months, approximately November - March, the City may erect a sand wall to protect all of the beachfront properties in Carpinteria from winter swells and storms. While it attempts to protect the properties, it does have the potential to block the view of the ocean from the lower levels of the home.

Nestled between the sparkling Pacific Ocean and the rugged Santa Ynez Mountains, Carpinteria boasts a mild climate and a laid-back atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities.
One of the town's main attractions is Carpinteria State Beach, where visitors can enjoy swimming, surfing, and sunbathing on the pristine sandy shores. The beach is also a popular spot for camping, with campsites that offer stunning ocean views. The town is also known for its vibrant agricultural community, and visitors can explore local farms and orchards that offer fresh produce and delightful farm-to-table experiences. The weekly Carpinteria Farmers Market is a great place to sample local flavors and artisanal products.
Carpinteria's small-town charm is evident in its downtown area, which features a variety of boutique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes. The town's rich history is showcased at the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History, where exhibits tell the story of the area's Chumash inhabitants and early settlers.
For those seeking adventure, the nearby Los Padres National Forest offers endless opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. The scenic trails lead to breathtaking vistas and hidden waterfalls, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts.
The annual California Avocado Festival, one of the largest free festivals in California, celebrates the region's agricultural heritage and is a must-visit for foodies. The festival features live music, arts and crafts, and an array of avocado-themed dishes.
