Welcome to our newly renovated waterfront cottage! Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, this cottage gives you the feeling of being in a tree house with all the amenities of the perfect rental. When you are done soaking in the views, take the short walk down to the oversized, private dock and enjoy all the lake has to offer!
The guests will have the entire house to themselves. It is a short walk down to the water’s edge, where there is a fire pit and a private dock! There are 2 sections to this dock, which is what makes it so special! Either sit out in the sun and swim or spend some time in the covered area while still enjoying the lake views. One step up from the lake is a large firepit with lake views. There are 2 kayaks included in your rental, as well as pontoon rental options.
This cottage is in Sherrills Ford, and everything you could need is a short drive away. This includes groceries, fast food, a diner, pizza, and a steak house, just to name a few. With a boat, it is also a very short ride to Apps and Taps and Toucans, staples on LKN.
Besides the perfect dock and location, the views from this house are to die for. When walking in the front door, you will be met with the open concept view to the back of the house with vaulted ceilings and an entire wall of windows overlooking the lake. Every window is also a sliding glass door that can be opened so you can listen to all the surrounding birds and lake life. It truly feels like you are living up in the trees!
A patio waits off the back of the house. You can enjoy an outdoor meal prepared in the oversized, fully stocked kitchen with a large island, giving plenty of space to prepare whatever your heart desires. If you want to grill, a brand-new grill is on the front porch near the kitchen.
The first floor hosts the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed, memory foam mattress, walk-in closet and attached primary bathroom. The main floor also has a half bath (with laundry) can be used off the kitchen.
The main area on the first floor has a dining area and living area where you can kick up your feet on the comfy leather couches after a long day on the lake. Choose from a forever-long list of movies and shows on the Netflix App. If you need to get some work done, there is also a desk and comfy chair overlooking the lake.
Heading downstairs, you will find another living area with a TV for kids or different viewing preferences. The couch in this room pulls out to a queen bed with a memory foam mattress. To the right will be the bunk bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, all with memory foam mattresses. The bunk beds consist of twin over full and full over full bunks. The last room of the house has a queen bed with a large window overlooking the back patio and lake. This room also contains the 2nd bathroom for all guests in the lower level to use.
You will walk out of the back of the house onto a large covered patio with a fire pit table to relax around. There is also a hot tub that can be used on the downstairs patio. These locations are sure to be perfect spots to unwind after a long day on the lake!

- The living room fireplace is not available for guest use.
- This rental also comes with 1 person kayak and 2 kayak paddles.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any Property Manager property under any circumstances.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
There is nothing more important to us at Property Manager than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We’ve enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
