Welcome to life on Lake Norman! Shades of Summer is a fabulous five-bedroom, three-bathroom house on the shores of Lake Norman. This charming ranch with a walkout basement is situated just off a quiet, tree-lined street in Denver, NC. The open floor plan on the main level gives you views of the lake from almost every window. The bright, open fully stocked kitchen has a bar with seating for 4 as well as an eat-in kitchen area open to the main living area. The kitchen offers a Keurig and drip coffee maker giving each guest choices to make their morning Joe! The main level has new furnishings with comfy couches, new large TVs, and sliders to a deck with grill, seating, and Adirondack chairs - perfect spots to relax with morning coffee or an adult beverage! The main level also hosts three bedrooms. The primary bedroom, with a king bed, has sliders to the deck for private lake views and a recently remodeled master bath with a tiled glass shower. The 2 other main-level bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hall. One bedroom boasts a king bed, and the other has a queen. All bedrooms have new wall-mounted TVs! In the fully finished basement, you will be drawn into a second living area with an air hockey table for young and old to enjoy! Watch the exciting air hockey games at the high-top table. New comfy couches and a wall-mounted TV are also available in the lower-level living area. The lower level has two bedrooms: one with two queens and the other with two twin-over-full bunks, each with its own TV, seating options, and a full bath and laundry room. Walk out the back to your lakefront oasis! Follow the path to a complete, custom gazebo right beside the water or fish off of the beautifully maintained dock. The gazebo has a new sectional and a small round table and chairs. The outdoor activities at Shades of Summer are endless, with a fire pit (wood provided), corn hole, and large Connect Four! Get your family or group games going! There is plenty of dock space to add your own or rented boat for your stay. It’s a perfect way to check out all Lake Norman offers. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys, which include a kayak, and an assortment of life jackets. Property Manager provides an upscale experience with services that elevate your stay and save time so you can enjoy every moment. Guests have access to a 24/7 support team and a tech-enabled concierge to book services, such as fridge stocking, mid-stay cleanings, and private chefs. Pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $175 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Property Manager’s approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Interior fireplaces are not available for guest use. - This rental also features 2 kayaks. - No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any Property Manager property under any circumstances. - Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation. Parking Details: Maximum of 5 cars allowed onsite. No parking on grass or street. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / King bed Bedroom 4 / Queen beds Bedroom 5 / Twin over full bunks This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. There is nothing more important to us at Property Manager than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We’ve enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
