You’ll be situated on Diamond Beach at the West end of Galveston Seawall. Stroll to the Seahorse Grill or Tipsy Turtle café, and the convenience/liquor store across the street. Drive 3 miles West to Galveston Island State Park for lovely views and a nice afternoon of nature, beach combing, shell collecting and more, or drive 6 miles east to the Renowned Historic Strand District, where you can peruse the shops to find souvenirs and gifts for loved ones, There is plenty of antiquing available here as well as museums and historical tours. Slow down the pace and explore the East End Lagoon Nature Preserve, do some beachcombing, and search for sea glass, and be sure to visit the iconic 1894 Bishop’s Palace for a tour.
This cozy home has all the essentials with a kitchen, complete with oven/stove, fridge, microwave, Granite counters, breakfast bar and coffeemaker - everything you need for making and enjoying meals in. The bedroom features Queen Bed, HD TV and just outside built into the hall alcove you’ll find a set of twin bunks perfect for your junior sized guests, allowing the unit to sleep up to six people. WIFI is included so everyone can stay up to date with friends and family back home and make them jealous as you post photos of your Galveston Island adventures.
The private balcony is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the afternoon sun as you read a book and hear the sound of the waves coming from the beach. You can also enjoy the view of the kids at the pool while you get rejuvenation and vitamin D from the Sun.
