Connemara Pearse’s Cottage is only 5km - This is a new visitor centre in Ros Muc in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht that tells the story of Patrick Pearse, and brings visitors on a journey of discovery through the language, culture and landscape of this stunning part of south Connemara. You will see Teach an Phiarsaigh, the cottage where Patrick Pearse, writer, educator and leader of the 1916 Rising, spent his summers and explore Pearse’s historical and cultural legacy. Take a walk through the bog & learn about contemporary life in Connemara, and how the Irish language, Gaelic sports and traditional music are part of everyday life. Well worth a visit. This holiday home is a perfect base for touring all that Connemara has to offer along the Wild Atlantic Way. The bungalow consists of 2 double rooms, 1 single room and 1 full bathroom.
