Valle Crucis is home to the Mast General store, which offers goods from backpacks and walking boots to old-time candy and everything in between. Right behind the store is Valle Crucis Community Park, with playgrounds, walking trails, sports fields, and access to the New River, where you can swim and fish. Little Birdsong Cabin is 7 miles from Boone, with local shopping, restaurants, attractions like Boone Golf Course, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventures Zipline and Aerial Park, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Nestled among the pine trees, the peaceful setting of this home is perfect for a High Country getaway. There are layered mountain views off the wrap-around porch, which you can enjoy from the new hot tub or comfortable deck seating. A gas grill and a fire table are also available on the newly expanded deck.
Warm wood interiors and appealing mountain décor create an inviting atmosphere inside this mountain cabin. The main area is an open floor plan with a living room with a leather couch and comfy seating around a large Smart TV. This room leads into the dining area for 4 and the well-stocked kitchen.
The primary bedroom is on the main level, with a full bed and private access to the deck. The bathroom is also on the main level and has a combination tub and shower. A queen bed and two twin beds comprise the spacious loft bedroom, accommodating 4 guests. The upstairs bedroom has personal bedside fans. Mini-split units provide year-round comfort. There is an on-site camera that monitors the driveway and parking area.
Please note that we strongly encourage guests to come prepared for inclement weather conditions with 4-WD or AWD and tire chains in the winter.
