Long View is a spacious home on Beech Mountain with long-range multi-layered mountain views. Less than two miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this premier vacation home enjoys winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. During the warmer months, activities include hiking, mountain biking, chairlift rides, and disc golf. Enjoy the convenience of Beech Mountain restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Hike, bike, or ski the Emerald Outback. Buckeye Recreation Center is a short three-mile drive and has basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, a playground, and a lake for fishing and paddle boating. The town of Banner Elk is six (6) miles away, with attractions like Lees-McRae College, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, the Banner Elk Winery, and more. Grandfather Mountain is just 30 minutes away, and Boone is 45 minutes from the cabin. Enjoy plenty of dining options right in Beech Mountain such as the Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, Holy Smokes BBQ, Fred’s Backside Deli, popular Mile High Tavern and more.
This two-level home has wood floors, high vaulted ceiling and plenty of space for family and friends to enjoy. The main level has a bright open great room with an array of windows overlooking the view. The open kitchen is a comfortable gathering place with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and a large kitchen island with bar stool seating. The dining area has mountain view with a large wood table with seating for ten. A powder room and laundry room are also located on the main level. The expansive upper and lower decks provide ample space to enjoy outdoor grilling, dining, and relaxing while overlooking the mountains. The lower level has an inviting family room with a shuffleboard table, a TV, and a cozy leather sofa. The garage game room has a ping-pong table and is conveniently equipped with a ski rack, boot bench and boot warmers for guests coming in from the slopes.
The main level includes the master suite featuring a TV, deck access, and a private bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. The lower level king bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom and the two lower level queen bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom. The spacious office with a full private bathroom includes a queen sleeper sofa for an additional sleeping area.
Additional Amenities at Long View include central heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, wifi, paid tv programming. Up to two dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. There is an upper driveway at the main front entrance and lower driveway leading to the garage. Please note that the heated garage has a ski rack, boot bench, boot warmers and no parking room. 4WD or AWD vehicles are necessary for winter weather driving.
