Located on Beech Mountain, Twisted Oak is only minutes from the heart of Beech Mountain, the ski resort. A short five minutes drive will bring you to year-round mountain adventure. The winter months provide skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating at the ski resort. In the summer, the ski runs are used for mountain biking, hiking, and disc golf. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top of the mountain and enjoy a the views with a drink at the top. The town of Banner Elk is a 20-minute drive with attractions like Banner Elk Winery and Vineyard, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
Twisted Oak is a two-level cottage with a multiple entertaining area. The living room has high ceilings with beautiful tongue and groove walls and large windows to offer warmth and light into the room. The reclining sofas are situated around the gas fireplace and large screen TV. The open floor plan makes for easy entertaining with family and friends. The kitchen has butcher block counter tops and stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove. Whip up your favorite meal on the stove, or on the grill on the back deck. The dining table offers seating for four guests. An additional entertaining space is offered in the neighboring game room with an HDTV and two arcade games. The back deck can be accessed from the game room or living room. The expansive outdoor entertaining area features a wooded scenery for privacy. Relax in the hot tub after a day of hiking or skiing, or style in on the outdoor sofa and roast marshmallows around the gas fire table. The outdoor dining table is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and share tales from your mountain adventures.
Twisted Oak is a three bedroom, three bathroom cottage that can accommodate up to eight guests. The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a king bed, TV, and private ensuite with a tub/shower combo. The top floor has a queen bedroom and twin-over-twin bunk room, both with TVs. They share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is an additional full bathroom on the main level. The game room has a full size sleeper sofa for an added sleeping spot.

Twisted Oak has Wifi, washer and dryer, and central heating and air conditioning on the main level. The top floor does not have air conditioning, only baseboard heat. Up to two dogs are allowed with the payment of an additional pet fee. Please note that there is a security camera that captures the parking area. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.
