Experience stunning long-range mountain views at Grey Fox, located just three miles from the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Beech Mountain offers a variety of activities year-round, including breathtaking mountain vistas, hiking, biking, and walking trails, as well as ponds, creeks, and streams for fishing and play. Enjoy concerts and other events throughout the year, and visit the Land of Oz when it is open. Additionally, Beech Mountain is conveniently close to downtown Banner Elk (less than 4 miles away), Grandfather Mountain (about 10 miles), Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and the Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club (approximately 8 miles), Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines (around 15 miles), the village of Valle Crucis (about 12 miles), Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain (each about 25 miles), and both Boone and Blowing Rock (each about 22 miles).
Inside, you’ll find a comfortable main-level living room with a leather sofa and recliner around a gas-log fireplace, a TV, and large sliding glass doors offering views of the mountains. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, plus seating for nine at the combined dining table and kitchen bar. Enjoy grilling and dining on the main-level deck, set against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Three bedrooms are located downstairs from the main-level living area. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom with sliding glass doors leading to a private balcony. The queen bedroom on this level also features a TV and access to the deck, which has seating outside the sliding glass doors. A few steps down leads you to a spacious room with two double beds, as well as a shared full bathroom in the hallway on this lower level. The loft above the main-level living area has two twin beds, a TV, and an air hockey table. There is also a mother-in-law suite accessible via a separate basement entrance to the left of the main entrance, which includes a full bathroom, a TV, and a queen-size bed. A spacious deck, equipped with a porch swing and outdoor table and chairs, overlooks the fenced-in backyard and woods, providing a safe play area for kids and pets.
Grey Fox includes a hot tub, a fire pit, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and paid TV programming, ensuring all the comforts of home. Electric heat and mini-split AC units maintain a comfortable temperature year-round. Two pets are welcome with a reservation, and additional pet fees will apply. Several cameras monitor the entrances to Grey Fox for added security.
