Hillside Cottage is a charming home centrally located between Boone and Blowing Rock offering convenient access to all the best High Country attractions. Boone is only minutes away, and is home to Appalachian State University, Boone Golf Club, public parks, and many local shopping and dining options. A ten minute drive will take you to Downtown Blowing Rock where you will find local dining and shopping, in addition to the community park. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than ten minutes from the cottage, for a mountain hike, a scenic drive, or a picnic at an overlook. Price Park is located off the parkway and provides camping, boating and fishing on Price Lake, and hiking and walking trails. Adventure awaits at Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures Zip Line, or Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Hillside Cottage is a newly renovated two-level home with multiple living areas, including a game room. The main level features an open floor plan with bright walls and natural light throughout. Relax in the living room while watching your favorite show on the TV, or enjoy the mountain views and lush trees from the sunroom. The sunroom can be enjoyed year-round and welcomes conversation between friends and family, or provides a quiet place to reflect or read a new book. Downstairs, guests can play a game of pool or watch the big game on the Smart TV. Step outside to the covered deck and relax in the hot tub after a day on the slopes or hiking on the parkway. The lower yard features a custom fire pit where guests can roast marshmallows for s’mores and shares stories from your mountain excursions.
This three bedroom mountain getaway can accommodate up to eleven guests. The main level is home to the master suite with a queen bed and beautiful private ensuite bathroom. The ensuite has a free-standing soaker tub and step-in shower. Downstairs, guests will find two additional bedrooms off the game room. A queen bedroom shares a common bathroom with the bunk room. The bunk room can sleep five guests in a twin-over-twin bunkbed and a twin-over-full bunkbed. The game room full size sleeper sofa can accommodate two additional guests.

Guest accommodations include WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, a laundry room, and a main floor powder room. Hillside Cottage allows one dog per reservation with an additional pet fee. The home is accessed via a paved parking area and no-step entry to the covered front porch. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.
