There are adventures to be had year-round on Beech Mountain, which boasts more than 50 acres of developed parkland, almost 10 acres of lakes, and over 28 miles of designated hiking and biking trails. Within 5 miles of the home there are attractions like Emerald Outback, a fantastic hiking/biking trail park, The Land of Oz, offering magical family events throughout the year, and Buckeye Recreation Center, where you can rent a canoe or pedal boat to explore Buckeye Lake. Downtown Banner Elk is a short 15-minute drive, with great local restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and other shopping opportunities.

Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
