Welcome to Elk Ridge Lodge!
Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains from this spacious cabin sitting over the town of Banner Elk. Sugar Mountain is visible from the cabin 6 miles away, and Beech Mountain Ski Resort is less than 3 miles up Beech Mountain. Banner Elk is under 3 miles down the mountain and offers local restaurants, shopping, and more. Other nearby High Country attractions include Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplines, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, and Tweetsie Railroad.
Enter the grand hall, where a massive stacked stone chimney rises through the center of the home. The cathedral ceilings and wall of windows offer a beautiful mountain view from inside. Many mounted trophies from Ted Turner’s personal ranch are in the main living area and the game room, giving a hunting lodge ambiance. The kitchen is well-appointed, with granite counters, new stainless appliances, and a large center island for food preparation. The beautiful dining table seats up to twelve. The king suite on the main level has deck access, a private TV, and an ensuite. The bathroom features a large jetted tub, a granite dual vanity, and a custom-tiled shower.
On the upper level are two wings and a central bathroom with a combination tub/shower and a granite dual vanity. To the left is a second king bedroom with a TV and Juliette balcony. To the right is another bedroom with a TV, balcony, and two queen-sized beds. On the lower level is another set of bedrooms, one with two queen beds and the other with two twin-over-full bunk beds with a shared full hallway bath. Access to the lower garage is downstairs, as well. The garage has been converted into a game room with heat and AC. You’ll find a ping pong table, a foosball table, and a large-screen TV with a sofa and chairs.
The large, main-level deck has space for the entire group. There are rockers for the view, a gas grill for dinner, and a gas fire table to lounge at under the stars. Newly installed is a walkway to the covered hot tub!
Additional amenities include WIFI, a washer and dryer, cable TV, central heating, and air conditioning. Pets are not allowed at Elk Ridge Lodge. Travelers in winter should prepare for winter weather with 4WD or AWD vehicles and tire chains.
