Experience a wonderful luxury mountain getaway at Mountain Air Cabin! This home is conveniently located between Boone and Banner Elk just off Highway 105, nestled in a private wooded setting, yet just a short fifteen-minute drive to Boone, shopping, hiking, rafting, fishing, zip lines, and so much more. This luxury home has modern mountain decor throughout, a family room packed with fun game tables, and the outdoor space includes a hot tub and fire pit providing entertainment for all ages.
The main floor living area has a floor-to-ceiling wood interior, a gas log fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and a spacious dining area to gather together. The kitchen is perfect for hosting holidays and gatherings as it includes both Keurig and drip coffee makers, a roasting pan, a 24-quart stock pot, large pots, pans, and serving dishes, and even a cookbook for holiday recipes.
There are a total of six (6) sleeping areas in this house. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom. There is a second king bedroom on the main level and a shared full hallway bathroom. Upstairs are two king bedrooms, a bunk room with a twin-over-double bed, and the Kids Kamp room has two double beds with twin beds above them. The Kids Kamp bunk is a dream for kids with a TV, a teepee tent, starfield projection lighting, a free library, and toys like Legos, Duplos, Lincoln Logs, Matchbox cars, and more. There is also a shared full hallway bathroom and a half bath upstairs.
The lower level family room has a flat-screen TV, a pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey, a card table, an arcade machine, and ping pong for endless fun and games. Enjoy the mountain air on the back deck with plenty of space to lounge by the fire table, unwind in the hot tub, or have a cookout on the gas grill. Relax over a meal outdoors on the screened-in porch with acacia wooden dining tables, enjoy the nature views on the hammock, and unwind in the cozy swinging egg chair. Play a couple of rounds of disc golf on the mini disc golf practice course in the spacious wooded backyard. Young kids will love playing in the Kids Kamp Lookout, an outdoor playhouse with a slide, kitchen, and telescope. Adirondack chairs surround a wood-burning fire pit in the lower yard for an evening fire.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, live streaming TV programming, and Smart TVs, which allow guests to log into personal streaming accounts. Family-friendly amenities include the Kids Kamp bunk, the Kids Kamp Lookout playhouse, a high chair, a pack-and-play (bring your sheets), and a step stool. There is a front doorbell blink camera that views the front porch and a left front floodlight camera that captures the driveway and retaining wall area. Pets are not allowed. There is a level gravel driveway and parking area that accommodates up to five cars. We recommend AWD or 4WD, as well as tire chains, during winter.
