Welcome to Mountain Top Lodge!
Mountain Top Lodge is a spacious log cabin with multiple decks at the top of Beech Mountain. Less than three (3) miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this property enjoys winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing, then hiking, mountain biking, chairlift rides, and disc golf during the warmer months. Have a drink at the 5506’ Skybar. Hike, bike, or ski the Emerald Outback. Enjoy Buckeye Recreation Center, a short five (5) mile drive away that provides basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, a playground, and the lake for fishing and paddle-boating. The town of Banner Elk is six (6) miles away, with attractions like Lees-McRae College, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, the Banner Elk Winery, and more.
At an elevation over 5,500 feet above sea level, Mountain Top Lodge offers guests an opportunity to experience mountain living at its best, with cool mountain breezes and mild summer temperatures. The open, level floor plan centers around a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs and a vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceiling. Ample cozy seating and an HDTV finish out the sitting area, leading to the kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances and a dining area with seating for eight (8) at the main table. There is additional seating for three (3) at the bar and an outdoor dining table. The two levels of spacious decks include plenty of seating and a captivating view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Recent renovations include adding a sleeping area, another full bathroom, and a game room with a pool table and arcade system.
This home is not pet-friendly. Air conditioning is only available on the lowest level of the home. There is plentiful parking space for multiple vehicles.
