Changes in Altitude is a 3BR/3BA upscale mountain condo in the exclusive Echota on the Ridge gated community. This centrally located getaway in the heart of the High Country is a short drive to events and attractions in Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock or Valle Crucis, Appalachian State University, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Local favorites include Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, and The Greater Foscoe Gem Mining Company, to name a few.
This peaceful Blue Ridge escape boasts an open concept living area with a gas fireplace, a large HDTV, and cozy seating looking out over the panoramic mountain landscape. The updated kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a bar area that looks into the living room. There is seating for six at the main dining table, with additional outdoor dining on the covered porch.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a large HDTV, private access to the covered deck, and a private full bath that includes a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a private full bath with a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features two twin beds, and there is also a third full bath with a walk-in shower.
All Echota amenities are available for guests to enjoy. Included in the club amenities are two clubhouses with swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor) and two fitness centers. Both gorgeous clubhouses have fireplaces, kitchens, libraries, pool tables, and more. The Ridgetop Clubhouse and outdoor pool is an excellent place for summer guests to relax and enjoy long mountain views from the water. The second clubhouse boasts a year-round indoor pool and hot tub. Echota also boasts a private 25-acre riverside park with a picnic pavilion and grill on the Watauga River, fishing ponds, and miles of hiking and walking trails.
This condo is not pet-friendly. There is parking for two (2) vehicles. Guests can access this home either by elevator or down a flight of stairs.
