White Oak Lodge Welcome to White Oak Lodge, nestled in the charming Valle Crucis Community! Our cozy retreat offers the perfect location for exploring High Country attractions. You’ll find the historic Original Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Community Park, with a walking trail, picnic areas, and access to the Watauga River. Boone is only eight miles away, where you can enjoy local shopping, dining, breweries, and parks. Blowing Rock is fourteen miles from our lodge and offers year-round activities, local shopping, and restaurants. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway is perfect for a drive, with stunning views and hiking trails. Our three-level home features a spacious main house with hardwood floors, a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen. The main house has three bedrooms, accommodating up to seven guests, and a back deck for enjoying the serene wooded surroundings. The separate garage apartment adds extra privacy with its kitchen, living room, and queen bedroom. The main house has hardwood floors on the main level, vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings in the living room, exposed beams, large windows, and a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone wood-burning fireplace. The back deck offers a quiet spot to relax. The dining area has seating for eight and two cozy sitting areas on either side. The downstairs den provides a plush couch, TV, and access to the lower deck. The main house accommodates up to seven guests across three bedrooms. The separate garage apartment, with its kitchen, living room, queen bedroom, and spacious front deck, adds extra privacy. White Oak Lodge offers central heating and air conditioning, Wifi, Hulu Live TV, a solo stove fire pit, and a washer and dryer in the main house. The garage apartment does not have air conditioning. We welcome up to two dogs with an additional pet fee. The gravel driveway has parking for three vehicles, with AWD or 4WD recommended in winter. *Allows pets with an additional fee paid after booking.
