Welcome to Seaforth!
Seaforth is an elegant mountain cabin with fine furnishings. This cabin sits in one of the most idyllic settings in the High Country. Enjoy privacy and views at the top of the mountain overlooking the Watauga River Valley. Explore walkable woods around the property, brimming with wildlife. Take a leisurely walk back down the gravel road to enjoy one of the most beautiful mountain settings in North Carolina, where the Watauga River winds gently through the valley. Watauga River Road is flat as it winds along the river and is great for walking, biking, and exploring. And on almost any good weather day, you will see kayakers, rafters, and tubers enjoying the river. Or take a short drive to the famous Mast General Store, which opened in 1883 and still offers a cup of coffee for 5 cents. There is frequent live music and a fun array of mountain merchandise and lore. This cabin is located centrally in the High Country, within easy driving distance of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain.
The main living area of Seaforth Cabin is the heart of the home and is an open-concept floor plan. Soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, a massive stone fireplace, and a wall of windows greet you when you enter the home. The dining room is spacious, seating ten (10) comfortably at a large table. The main living area leads out to a large deck with comfortable seating. Downstairs is a game room with a flat-screen TV, a ping pong table, a dartboard, a sauna, and a movie room with a flat-screen TV.
