Poplar Hill Hideaway is a charming 3-bedroom mountain cabin just minutes from the heart of Boone. This home is convenient to local restaurants, unique local shopping, and necessities like grocery stores and gas stations. Access to an abundance of Blue Ridge favorites is within a 20-minute drive, including Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, Sky Valley Zipline Tours, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, the Tanger Outlets Shopping Mall of Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis Community Park, and much more. After a day of hiking, skiing, shopping, or sightseeing, come back to Poplar Hill Hideaway and take advantage of the wooded view while relaxing in the hot tub. Poplar Hill Hideaway is perfect for all seasons.
There is plenty of space indoors and out to enjoy this cozy hideaway. The main floor living room has a gas log fireplace, and the lower level has a family room with a large screen TV and a queen size sleeper sofa. There is a comfortable king bedroom on the main level and two cozy queen bedrooms on the lower level. The expansive kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances with bar seating at either end. It opens to the dining area, accommodating a full house. Enjoy morning coffee on the expansive covered deck area with comfortable seating, including a porch swing day bed. Soak in the hot tub, dine outside, or gather around the chiminea fire pit for a relaxing evening in the mountains. Guests will be delighted to find two wooden porch swings overlooking the mountains under the deck.

A stay at Poplar Hill Hideaway includes amenities such as wifi, plenty of streaming options on the 3 TVs, plus Youtube TV, an arcade game, a laundry closet, and central heating and air for year-round comfort. There is a full sleeper sofa in the lower level family room. Up to two dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. We strongly recommend being prepared for inclement weather with 4-wheel drive vehicles.
