Welcome to High Meadow Retreat!
High Meadow Retreat is a designer mountain home in the coveted Blue Ridge Mountain Club. It provides guests with access to the club’s unique amenities.
- The Blue Ridge Mountain Club is an upscale, gated mountain community with thousands of acres of pristine land and over 40 miles of hiking, walking, biking, and UTV trails. It has a safe, fun swimming hole and over 64 miles of private fishing streams and creeks.
- The Chetola Sporting Preserve offers trap and sporting clay shooting, a pistol range, an archery range, and a rifle range. Enjoy a guided trap shooting adventure on a 13-station course. Book a guided fly fishing trip on the private waters.
- The Ascent Wellness & Fitness Center, adjacent to the condos, has state-of-the-art equipment, yoga facilities, exercise studios, facilitated fitness classes, and much more. The center is available to our guests during staffed hours for $10 per day.
- Adjacent to the Fitness Center is the new Lookout Grill, a casual restaurant with an indoor/outdoor bar overlooking breathtaking mountain views, just a short walk from the property. The restaurant and bar are open seasonally, and hours will change based on the time of year. Please check for updated hours and information.
- The Watson Gap Village Jasper House is a stunning gathering place with a huge fireplace and comfy furniture. Open the big wall facing the view and create a unique indoor/outdoor venue.
- The Fire Garden just outside in Watson Gap Village boasts numerous fire features and fire pits - both propane and wood-burning - for guests to enjoy. Its common lawn and courtyard have many outdoor benches and chairs to relax in while enjoying the view and a large, level manicured lawn for outdoor fun.
- The Watson Gap Village offers plenty of room inside and out to enjoy time with family and friends and meet new friends. The nearby Watson Gap Pavilion offers another social gathering place with an outdoor fireplace, a grilling/barbecuing station, and facilities for guest comfort. The Watson Gap Pavilion is a wonderful place for impromptu gatherings as well as planned events. It hosts over 20 social events annually and is available for weddings and other special occasions.
- There is also an Events Lawn, which hosts numerous large events, concerts, and more, as it can accommodate hundreds of people at once.
- The staff at Blue Ridge Mountain Club are second to none. They have been an asset that has heightened the ownership experience and our guests’ experience and have been excellent partners to work with for our staff at Property Manager.

The upscale High Meadow Retreat boasts incredible layered long-range mountain views and lavish decor on each level. A main-level indoor/outdoor living area, a lower-level bonus room, a hot tub deck, and 5 sleeping areas, including three upper-level king suites. Step in the front entrance to the main level with the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Comfortable furnishings surround the stacked-stone gas log fireplace and big screen TV, and a wall of windows spans the floor. The deck has a gourmet gas grill, an outdoor dining area, and a covered living space with a wood-burning stone fireplace and TV.
The three upper-level king suites have TVs and ensuite bathrooms with beautiful views from the windows. The lower level is a bonus room with unique suspended twin bunks over a sofa that converts to a comfortable queen bed. There is a shuffleboard table, a kids’ play nook under the stairs, and a covered deck with a hot tub. The lower level bedroom includes a king bed with a suspended twin above and access to the lower level Jack-and-Jill bathroom. A ping pong table in the garage provides even more space to spread out and have fun.

The surrounding mountains are laced with a variety of hiking trails that cater to all levels of hikers - from leisurely strolls to more strenuous climbs. Although not directly passing through Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway - often dubbed as "America's Favorite Drive" - is in close proximity and provides breathtaking scenic views. These views become particularly spectacular during autumn when the leaves transform into vibrant hues.
History and culture enthusiasts have plenty to explore in Boone as well. The Hickory Ridge Living History Museum offers an immersive experience into 18th-century life with its historical structures and live demonstrations.
