Our house is on a charming residential street located in Canvey Island, a small town situated on the Thames Estuary in Essex, England. The street is lined with rows of well-maintained houses, predominantly single-family homes, creating a pleasant and inviting environment. The neighborhood exhibits a mix of architectural styles, with some properties showcasing traditional designs while others feature more modern aesthetics. Green spaces and parks are within easy reach, providing opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation. Canvey Island itself boasts beautiful coastal areas, offering residents stunning views and the chance to enjoy beachside walks or picnics. The proximity to the estuary also provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water-based activities. A short drive or walk will take you to a range of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes, ensuring residents have convenient access to everyday essentials and dining options.

Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- I want to make sure you have a pleasant, hassle-free stay! To ensure you have the best experience possible and to maintain the property and the good relationship with the community, here are additional house rules:
- • Lost keys or forgotten keys incur a replacement fee; the minimum charge is £150
- • Any type of illegal activity is strictly prohibited
- • Unauthorized early check-in and late check-out charge is £250 plus the equivalent amount of the night(s) impacted
- Please note that I offer two options for handling the security deposit for your stay:
- 1. £500 Security Deposit: This deposit is refundable upon check-out, provided no damages are incurred during your stay.
- 2. A £35 Non-Refundable Damage Waiver: Alternatively, guests can opt for a damage waiver provided through a Waive It. This waiver offers protection against accidental damages during your stay, offering you peace of mind without the upfront deposit.
