The open plan living space on Villa Loren’s ground floor is cosy and inviting, with a lounge area featuring a flatscreen TV. The casual dining area provides the perfect place for everyone to gather together and discuss the day’s adventures over a delicious meal and a glass of local wine. Natural wood finishes and high ceilings with rustic exposed beams create a warm, relaxed ambience in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a modern breakfast bar and everything you might need to cook up a feast with the local produce you have discovered. As well as a stylish bathroom featuring a bathtub, there is another separate lounge area on the ground floor, where you can spend a few hours on the comfortable sofa, reading and relaxing in peace and quiet. Upstairs, Villa Loren’s spacious master suite features a double bed, a private seating area and a modern en-suite bathroom. A second double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is also located on the first floor. Both bedrooms boast relaxed, understated furnishings and charming vaulted ceilings. The limestone system of the Škocjan Caves is another awe-inspiring attraction that includes one of the world’s largest known underground river canyons, making it a well-deserved UNESCO World Heritage site. For many visitors to this diverse region, the sparkling waters of the nearby Adriatic Sea beckon. Within half an hour, you can drive through the peaceful countryside, cross the border and soak up the sun and relaxed ambience of the Italian coastline.
