Castellare Petroso is a luxuriously restored Tuscan farmhouse in a peaceful location near the medieval hamlet of Colle Petroso. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, it is perfect for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. A special feature is the adjacent Etruscan archaeological site, adding a unique historical dimension to the setting. The well-maintained outdoor area includes a pool and a whirlpool, offering the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the stunning landscape of the Chianti Classico. The holiday home is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico, with all the region’s towns, villages, wineries and castles within easy reach. The charming towns of Castellina and Radda in Chianti are both about a ten-minute drive away and offer a variety of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. We recommend stopping by the Gelateria di Castellina, known for its excellent homemade ice cream. In Colle Petroso, just a short walk from the house, you’ll also find a restaurant. About 500 metres away are natural springs with small pools, offering a refreshing option on hot summer days. Siena is around a 45-minute drive, and Florence, Arezzo and San Gimignano are also ideal for day trips. The stone-built villa is set in a quiet rural location and is surrounded by paved terraces that frame the house with clean, well-kept outdoor spaces. Two covered terraces provide plenty of space outdoors, one with a large dining table for communal meals and the other with comfortable seating perfect for relaxing. Inside, the two-storey house offers generous living space along with quiet corners to relax and unwind. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, combining traditional wooden beamed ceilings, brightly painted walls, high-quality furnishings, and carefully selected decorative touches to create a warm, stylish atmosphere with an authentic Tuscan feel.
