This property is perched atop a hill away from neighbouring properties. In the main house, the open-plan living space is a sanctuary of serenity. Housing a large kitchen island and private pantry, cooking is a gastronomic dream, and you have access to a barbeque. The seating area is styled to make the most of your rugged views, with minimal furniture just waiting to hold space for a moment of tranquility. The two bedrooms in the main house are furnished in a peaceful Japanese style. This is normal and safe for all household use, including drinking, cooking, and washing. For the freshest water, run the tap for a few seconds until it clears. The water may have a slight odour or discolouration, but it is perfectly safe to drink. It’s an easy 30-minute drive to Hobart, and to explore the local scenery. If you’re not bringing your own car, there are regular buses between Snug and Hobart, as well as Kettering Ferry Port close by offering day trips to Bruny Island. But a car is recommended as Snug like all of Tasmania is rural.
