I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need me. I can also provide you with tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
Barton is a suburb full of government departments. It has a lot of great lunch venues and would be considered a bit posh’ by most Canberrans. If you’re after an evening venue you can stroll down to Kingston (less than 10 minutes). Also, consider going for an early morning run around the lake.
Many bus services run through Barton - ACT Gov transport website or catch a taxi or UBER.
