A cosy colour palette of oranges and reds evoking the sunset; a
distinct jungle theme emerging in the eclectic décor; warm light
flooding each space through ample full-height windows. These are the
remarkable hallmarks of this two-bedroom home in the La Muette
neighbourhood of the fabulous 16th arrondissement, where you’re only
moments from the Trocadéro, the flowing Seine and the Eiffel Tower
beyond. LIVING & DINING AREA Move past the stunning coral-coloured
entryway and enter the living area, where you’ll feel immediately
transported to the grasslands of the Serengeti: statues and art
depicting cheetahs and lions, colourful rugs, and myriad oddities from
Africa combine to create a truly vibrant scene. Bright orange armchairs
add an eclectic flair, while mid-century modern furnishings are topped
with plentiful baubles and curios. Behind the gorgeous bench-like sofa,
sit down to enjoy a meal at the oval dining table, held up by metallic
supports that evoke an elephant’s legs. TERRACE Pass through one of the
several full-height glass doors in the living room and emerge onto the
balcony, where you’ll look down on a secluded, leafy and quiet
courtyard and the rooftops of the 16th arrondissement. KITCHEN A
functional enclave of the home, this kitchen is fully stocked with all
the everyday amenities, including a microwave, dishwasher and coffee
machine. BEDROOMS The principal bedroom is beautifully decorated with
sketches, paintings and posters, and an array of end and bedside
tables. Against a mauve feature wall sits a queen-sized bed which can
split into two singles beds on request. The second bedroom is similarly
furnished and decorated, featuring the same feature wall with a double
bed against it. BATHROOMS Both bathrooms also share finishes, featuring
stone tiling throughout. The primary bathroom features a bath with
overhead shower, a toilet and a double wash basin, while the second
bathroom offers a bath with overhead shower and a wash basin. A
separate WC with toilet and wash basin can be found near the entryway.
WE LOVE The unique mix of décor, artefacts and miscellaneous curios in
the living room, all brightly illuminated by the sun streaming in from
the full-height doors and windows. **To rent this property, the minimum
age requirement is 25 years old.** Home truths: No smoking or parties.
Pets are welcome on request. The apartment is on the second floor and
can be accessed by a lift. A friendly dog occasionally lives here.
Though the dog will not be present during your stay, and the home is
cleaned to an extremely high standard, the property may not be suitable
for those with allergies. Although we always endeavour for accuracy,
there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and
description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s
amenities. When your booking has been confirmed, we will ask you to
fill in a pre-check-in form on our website to confirm your identity and
booking details. Please note you will need to provide an official
photographic identification document. This enables us to provide you
with a more personal service and offers an extra level of security for
both our guests and our homes. Please note, Property Manager homes are lived-in
homes, which we think adds to their charm! Guests should, however,
expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items within the
property.
